Well one main reason should be due to mamas’ love for travelling! Ling ma went to HK while Rong flew to TW. And Rong ma’s gonna travel again soon =)

Its OurMamaStore’s first anniversary on 11th Apr! Mamas planned a mini getaway to celebrate this occasion (actually we celeb much later)… Anyways, will leave to Rong Ma to blog abt it..!

With all smiles, Rong and I marched from office to our meeting place. Upon reaching, we met up with this smiley and friendly lady.

We love meetings like these.

Anyhow, mamas are going overseas this weekend as part of ourmamastore’s 1st anniversary.

Spent time discussing with Rong about ourmamastore’s future plans.
I’m enjoying every moment of this.

Mamas are so busy lately with work, fun, and items sourcing. Ling Ma has so many items at home waiting to be launched in Our Mama Store!

Excited.

The Mamas are going for our FIRST MAMA TRIP to celebrate our FIRST ANNIVERSARY. So exciting! We will bring back loads of photos during the short getaway!

Its true, a physcial shop have much more things to cater to - operating cost, marketing methods, sunken capital.. so on.

But I guess ourmamastore means much more to me.

It symbolises the work of friendship love, having to bear with each other’s temperaments at times, laughing over the sillest/cutest jokes, fighting over promotion methods and receiving constructive comments.

Through the goods and bads, I learnt alot and gained much. Rong and I are bent on improving ourselves, though we have limited time to cater to everything, we do our best to bring sincerity and happiness to our mama-ians - with no intention of gaining anything back.

But I guess sometimes, when you give out love, it comes back naturally.

Rong Ma telecom-ed me today, and told me that one of her friends commented that ourmamastore.com website is.. nice (okay, I don’t know what else to describe becoz anything else would sound like I’m very arrogent lol), and that she can feel the efforts put into the site.

Nice or not, is really subjective. But receiving this comment makes my heart feel warmth. People understood, they can feel our love towards our little online happiness.

Ling Ma will continue to improve the site, while Rong Ma concentrates on creating suppliers rapport.

Lastly, Mamas would like to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas!!!

Since there are so many blogshops around recently (and increasing rapidly!), it is important to choose who you shop with wisely. But how?

Small, Mini, Tiny!
Look out for words that are super tiny - they could be clauses that you have missed out! The Mamas have ever seen clauses that are rude & most importantly, unreasonable. Does “Unclaimed payment/items will be confiscated?” sounds fair to the buyer - you?

I See You!
Do meet ups! It will be good to see the seller in real so that one, you can check your items. two, you might even find a friend in them! And three, which is Mamas favourite reason, meeting up is a form of cost saving for you - the buyer!

Reviews - Real or Not?
While positive reviews might give shoppers a good impression of a seller, not all reviews are genuine. Look out for forums where anyone can register. The so-called “positive reviews” might be from the seller themselves!

Communication
Ask, ask, ASK! Through the seller’s replies (and how they offer their help), you can then decide if you wish to shop with them. Try not to jump into a spree immediately once you see something you like. Find out more about the blogshop first.
